đŸŸ Cattery Visit Guidelines for Allergy Testing

We understand that many families visit us to meet our cats and assess potential allergic reactions. While Siberians are known to produce lower levels of allergens, no cat breed is truly hypoallergenic.

To protect the health of our cats—and provide you with a safe, respectful experience—we kindly ask you to follow the recommendations below:

đŸ§Ș 1. Allergy Testing Policy

We allow one allergy testing visit per household, which may last up to 2 hours maximum.

This extended visit gives you enough time to interact with our cats in a calm, natural setting while monitoring for any delayed symptoms.

⏱ Please plan ahead: Make sure all decision-makers are present, and avoid booking if you're feeling unwell or have been recently exposed to illness.

đŸ§Œ 2. Hygiene Rules for All Visitors

Our cattery is a safe, clean space for our animals, especially kittens with developing immune systems. To protect their health:

⊁ Wash hands thoroughly before and after interacting with any cats.

⊁ Wear clean clothes not recently exposed to other animals.

⊁ Remove your shoes or wear protective covers provided.

⊁ Avoid heavy fragrances, smoke, or harsh chemicals on clothing or skin.

⩁ Do not touch the kittens’ faces and mouths.

🧯 3. If You Have Known Sensitivities

If you are mildly allergic or unsure:

⊁ Bring antihistamines or any personal medication (just in case).

⊁ Avoid touching your face during the visit.

⩁ Let us know if you begin to feel unwell—we’ll help you exit comfortably.

⊁ You are welcome to take a small fur or bedding sample home after your visit to continue testing for allergens in a more controlled environment.

Please note that we are unable to provide or ship samples in advance of your visit.

đŸ‘¶ 4. Children & Visitors

⊁ Children are welcome but must be calm and closely supervised.

⊁ Please let us know in advance how many people will attend (we may limit group size).

⊁ If you bring a child who may be allergic, please prepare with their doctor beforehand.

📣 5. Important Reminders

⊁ Do not bring food, other animals, or outside toys.

⊁ Keep noise to a minimum to avoid stressing our cats.

⊁ Ask questions! We're happy to provide tips on Siberian care, allergen management, and home preparation.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

This one visit will help you assess both your comfort and compatibility with our cats—and helps us protect their well-being too.

We look forward to welcoming you! đŸ±
